Women in AI Governance (WiAIG) is dedicated to protecting your privacy and ensuring your data is handled with transparency and respect. This Privacy Notice details how we process your personal data if you are a corporate member or sponsor.
Data Collected and Use
WiAIG collects and processes the following types of personal data from our sponsors and corporate members.
Contact Information
For sponsors and corporate members we engage with, as well as organizations requesting access to our Speaker Roster, we collect name, job title, company name, email address, phone number and mailing address.
Biling Information
We may collect payment details, billing address, and invoicing preferences.
Corporate Information
We may collect information about your company such as size, industry sector, and areas of interest or planned events.
Engagement Data
We have records of participation in our events, your sponsorship activities, and membership, as applicable.
If you sponsor our events or programs, or take a more active role on our leadership team, we may ask for other organization information as well.
Our Lawful Basis
We process the personal data or our sponsors to fulfill our contractual obligations and we may also process sponsor data under our legitimate interests in maintaining and enhancing our sponsor relationships, events promotion, and to acknowledge sponsor contributions.
For our corporate members, we process your data based on contractual necessity to manage membership benefits and we also rely on our legitimate interests.
Retention Periods
We retain information for the duration of our relationship with you or as long as necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations. Sponsorship data is retained for the duration of the sponsorship agreement and 24 months thereafter for reporting and follow-up.
