and Agreement 

By using the WiAIG Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

  • Binding Agreement: Using WiAIG Means Accepting These Terms

    By accessing or using the Women in AI Governance (WiAIG) Platform—which includes our website, forum, communities, leadership networks, and mobile application—you agree to comply with these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

  • WiAIG offers and provides a professional community designed to foster engagement and collaboration in AI governance. Our Platform includes forums for discussion, communities for networking, leadership networks for mentorship and growth, and a mobile app for on-the-go interaction.

  • Your Contribution: Upholding Standards and Trust

    As a member of WiAIG, you are expected to uphold a high standard of professionalism. This includes:

    - Posting respectful and constructive content.

    - Verifying the accuracy of information before sharing it with the community.

    - Reporting any violations of these Terms or the Member Forums and Events Code of Conduct to WiAIG administrators.

  • Stay sage - Even Professionals Can Get It Wrong

    WiAIG strives to maintain a reliable and professional environment, but even in well-meaning communities, disinformation can occur. Members should approach all content with a critical eye, verifying information in alignment with their professional responsibilities. WiAIG cannot guarantee the accuracy of all user-generated content, and members are encouraged to politely point out any inaccuracies they encounter. 

  • No Continuous Monitoring.

    No Supervision.

    Responsibility Lies with All of Us

    Due to the dynamic nature of the WiAIG community, WiAIG does not monitor, supervise, or oversee the content and interactions on this Platform. We rely entirely on our members to uphold the community standards and report any issues that may arise. As such, content shared on th ePlatform is not reviewed or moderated by WiAIG unless a specific problem is reported to us. Members are encouraged to use their best judgement, exercise caution,, and verify information independently.

    The responsibility of maintaining a professional environment lies with each member of this community.

  • Moderation Rights: We Act When Notified

    Although WiAIG does not continuously monitor all content, we reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove any content that violates these Terms, community guidelines, or legal requirements once we are made aware of it. This includes content that is reported by members or identified by our team as problematic. WiAIG may take disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of access, against members who breach these Terms.

  • Professionalism, respect, and responsibility are the expected conduct on the WiAIG Platform.

    Members of WiAIG are expected to conduct themselves professionally at all times. This includes:

    - Refraining from harassment, discrimination, or unprofessional behavior.

    - Engaging in respectful dialogue, even when disagreements arise.

    - Upholding the integrity of the community by following these guidelines in all interactions, whether on the Platform, in forums, or at events.

  • Intellectual Property Rights 

    Members retain ownership of the content they create but grant WiAIG a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content within the Platform. Members must respect the intellectual property rights of others. Any content that infringes on IP rights will be removed, and the responsible member may face consequences, including termination of access.

  • WiAIG is not responsible for the content of external sites linked within the Platform. Members accessing third-party links do so at their own risk. This also applies to any third-party tools integrated with the Platform.

  • Members must create an account to participate fully in WiAIG’s Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. WiAIG reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to the community.

  • Reporting IP Infringements

     

    If you believe that any content on the WiAIG Platform infringes your copyright, please notify us immediately. WiAIG will take prompt action to investigate the claim and, if necessary, remove the infringing content.

  • You agree not to engage in any activities that violate these Terms, including but not limited to: posting offensive, harmful, or illegal content; engaging in harassment or discrimination; infringing on the intellectual property rights of others; and attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or another user’s account.

  • WiAIG provides the Platform "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. WiAIG does not warrant that the Platform will be error-free or uninterrupted.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, WiAIG, its officers, directors, employees, or agents will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Platform, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses.

  • Your Agreement to Defend Us

    You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WiAIG, its founders, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

  • WiAIG reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the Platform, and it is your responsibility to review the Terms regularly. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Delaware.
